What is The Red Pill ? Are you Red Pill ?

So there exists a problem when it comes to understanding what the red pill is.

Recently I had a conversation with a woman I met at a bar. We were having a discussion about dating post-Covid and the conversation ventured unto what our interests and hobbies were. I told her that I am a content creator on YouTube and that I have a podcast where I talk about Music and History. She jokingly responded that; at least I was not a red pill content creator. Her comment made me curious so I asked her why she said that. Given the fact that I do consider myself "Red Pill".

I asked her what she meant by that and what was her understanding of the online Red Pill movement and her response was that the red pill movement were guys who hated women and got online and bashed women and feminism. I thought to myself that this was a problem.

If a person gets online and googles the red pill they will be inundated with hit piece articles
where the authors disparage, mischaracterizes and labels the red pill a mens hate group filled with incels. Men they describe as sex less or involuntary celibate. Basically social outcasts. the few pages offering a counter narrative are far and few between and their usually on Reddit. A less than reputable source of information

The question I had to ask myself is why is there no balance when it comes to understanding what it meant to be Red Pill? Why was there such an obvious Main Stream effort to paint the movement as a hate group or at the very least, a group of insignificant and troublesome incel organization

The fact that there are few positive or balanced articles about the red pill creates a narrative. Albeit a false one where the conversation around it will often times be seen in the public's eye Negatively. So yes, I do consider this a problem. Its a problem because as more young men come of age, and more young women come of age, not having honest conversations about topics concerning culture, oftentimes will lead to conflict. Misdirecting people away from the nuanced nature of conversations may funnel people towards extreme views, and in a balance society or at least a society that structures itself around the idea of being balanced extremism and polarity will serve to further undermine our unity.

So next time one of you mainstream writers or bloggers decides to write an article about the Red Pill. Try being a little more balanced and nuanced if your goal is that of objective truth. Try it, it wont hurt you if you do.
